John Wender.

Sleazy cheater, sociopathic narcissist, pathological liar, misogynist, drug and alcohol abuser.
Architect at Bartolone Wender Architects.
Mark Bartolone and John Wender established Bartolone Wender Architects in 1998. Initially founded to design a multi-million dollar, 20 unit lodge-style ski condominium that the partners secured by competition, the firm has gone on to complete a range of work including luxury residential homes, restaurants, stores, showrooms, and small institutional buildings.

Bartolone, who resides in Fairfield County, Connecticut, is widely recognized throughout the area as a leading designer of traditional homes. The firm has completed many residences in Westport, Greenwich, and Weston. More recent projects are being constructed in Vermont, Scarsdale, and the Hudson Valley. The principals have a unique depth of experience with landmarked and historic structures and have recently completed a study to add entry vestibules to exhibition halls at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

John Benjamin Wender successfully presented an extensive master plan for the reconstruction of the exterior courtyard of the famous Dakota Apartments, located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, at a public hearing of the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The plan was lauded by the commissioners and, subsequently, was unanimously approved to proceed. This project, which included the removal of the existing courtyard surface, and its reconstruction with period materials, grew to include the relighting of all the building’s exterior, the restoration of the building’s cast iron and glass fountains, and the design and installation of an elaborate monumental wrought entry gate. The principals serve as consulting architects to a number of important landmarked cooperative buildings in New York City.  For more information please visit
